#13. Nausea and Vomiting – An Overlooked Stroke Warning Sign
Nausea and vomiting are often linked to stomach flu or food poisoning, but they can also be triggered by changes in the brain. When the body is under stress, it releases hormones that cause blood vessels to tighten. For people with blood sugar imbalances, this increases the risk of clot formation. If a clot or sudden pressure begins to affect the brain, it can disrupt the body’s normal signals, leading to nausea or repeated vomiting. If these symptoms appear suddenly without a clear cause, it may be a sign of a stroke.
